Introduction

Marie-Josee Herard was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1982, and has a B.A. in Political Science and a Master's degree in International Relations.

 

Ms. Herard lived her early years in Montreal and went on to spend her formative years in Orlando, Florida. During this time, in the summer of 2001, she attended an extended seminar on International Diplomacy at the prestigious National Student Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. The NSLC is supported by an Honorary Board of Advisors consisting of more than 300 Senators, Congressional Representatives, “Medical Professionals,” and Ambassadors.

 

Following this, Ms. Herard went back to Montreal to finish her University degree; she graduated from Concordia University with a Baccalaureate Degree in Arts & Science, majoring in Political Science.

 

During her formation at the University, she worked part-time at Capital Corp Merchant Banking (www.capitalcorpmerchantbanking.com) as a Research Analyst. After receiving her University Degree, she promoted to the position of Market Analyst, then helmed CCMB's Country Risk Analysis Department and has since worked on ever more challenging projects that have served to enhance her analytical skills and develop her potential.

 

During the past years, Ms. Herard has attended a number of work-related seminars to help enrich and complement her career path. The said seminars are as follows:

  • Essentials of Communicating with Diplomacy and Professionalism

 

In 2009, Marie-Josee was awarded with a membership into the Presidential Who’s Who in Professional and Business Achievers. The Presidential Who’s Who is an organization dedicated in recognizing executives, professionals, and businesses who are felt to have reached a level of recognizable success.

 

Marie-Josee Herard has, since December 2010, obtained a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Webster University, MI, USA. The Master of Arts in International Relations comprises the analysis of complexities and processes involved in world politics and international affairs.  Students are exposed to the key subfields of relevant issues such as globalization, human rights, war and diplomacy, and economic development.  Webster University was established in 1915 and now includes more than 100 campus locations throughout the United States and across the globe.  Webster is dedicated to academic excellence, innovation in higher education, and incorporating an international perspective throughout one's curriculum.

 

She is currently working as the company's Communications Director.
